Setzer made his NASCAR debut on the Busch Series in 1991. Since then he has recorded two wins and 22 Top 10 finishes, with his first win coming in the 1994 Ford Credit 300 at South Boston Speedway. He also began driving in the Truck Series in 1995 and has posted 18 career wins. He made his debut in the Sprint Cup Series in 1998 and most recently raced in the 2011 Jeff Byrd 500 at Bristol as a replacement driver for Brian Keselowski. He finished 38th.
