Drissi, an advertising executive in the movie industry, is also a road-course ringer on the NASCAR circuit who was the 2009 champion driver in the Sports Car Club of America’s Trans-Am Series. He currently competes in the American Le Mans Series for RSR Racing in the Prototype Challenge class. Drissi made his debut on the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series at the 2012 Toyota/Save Mart 350 on June 24 at Sonoma for Tony Baldwin Racing, and wound up finishing in 38th place when he was forced out of the race following an accident after completing 78 laps.
