Busch wins in California

Kyle Busch held off Greg Biffle to win his first ever Nextel Cup race Sunday night, claiming the checkered flag at the Sony HD 500 at the California Speedway.

Tony Stewart finished in fifth place and continues to lead the driver standings after 25 events. Only one race remains until the Chase for the Nextel Cup begins.

Brian Vickers was third at California, followed by Carl Edwards in fourth spot. Rounding out the rest of the top 10 were Kasey Kahne, Matt Kenseth, Jamie McMurray, Ricky Rudd and Joe Nemechek.
