Vickers wins at Talladega

Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Jimmie Johnson both spun out on the final lap Sunday allowing Brian Vickers to claim the checkered flag and the win in the UAW-Ford 500 at Talladega Superspeedway.

Jeff Burton continues to lead the Chase for the Nextel Cup standings with a slim six-point lead over Matt Kenseth, who was fourth on Sunday.

Kasey Kahne was second at Talladega, followed by Kurt Busch in third. Kenseth was fourth and Martin Truex Jr. was fifth. Rounding out the rest of the Top 10 were Kevin Harvick, Jeff Green, Bobby Labonte, Earnhardt Jr. and Johnson.

With six races remaining in the Chase Burton, Kenseth and Mark Martin are the top three in the Nextel Cup standings. The rest of the Chase standings includes Harvick in fourth, Denny Hamlin in fifth, Earnhardt Jr. in sixth, Johnson in seventh, Jeff Gordon in eighth, Kahne in ninth and Kyle Busch in tenth.
