Biffle wins at Miami, Johnson wins championship

Greg Biffle won the Ford 400 at the Homestead-Miami Speedway Sunday, but the day belonged to Jimmie Johnson, who won his first Nextel Cup Championship after finishing ninth.

Johnson finished the season with 6470 points, 51 points ahead of second place finisher Matt Kenseth, who was sixth on Sunday.

Finishing behind Biffle on Sunday were Martin Truex Jr. in second and Denny Hamlin in third. Kasey Kahne was fourth, followed by Kevin Harvick, fifth and Kenseth in sixth. Rounding out the rest of the Top 10 were Scott Riggs, Carl Edwards, Johnson and Clint Bowyer.

The final Nextel Cup Standings saw Johnson and Kenseth followed by Hamlin in third and Harvick in fifth. Jeff Gordon finished sixth and Jeff Burton was seventh. Kahne moved up to eighth, Mark Martin ended up in ninth and Kyle Busch rounded out the Chasers in tenth.
