Stampeders roll over Blue Bombers

Henry Burris threw three touchdown passes and ran in for another Sunday to lead the Calgary Stampeders past the Winnipeg Blue Bombers 46-24.

The Stampeders had been favored by 5-points in the game and easily covered the spread. The combined score was well OVER the posted over/under total (46).

Burris finished the game 21-of-25 for 343 yards. Receiver Nikolai Lewis caught a pair of touchdowns in the win. David Allen ran in for a TD, while Coby Rhinehart returned an interception 51-yards for a touchdown.

Winnipeg running back Charles Roberts ran in for a pair of touchdowns in the loss. Quarterback Kevin Glenn completed 10-of-18 passes for 113 yards with three interceptions before being replaced by Russ Michna. Michna hooked up with Milt Stegall for a 13-yard touchdown pass.
