Two late interceptions from Mike Quinn and Brad Banks was the story as the Toronto Argonauts, despite not playing great, pull themselves into a tie with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the CFL Eastern Division with a 18-15 victory in Winnipeg on Friday night.
The Argos were favorites on the road at -4.5, while the two teams' combined total of 33 points was UNDER the posted total of 43.
Damon Allen paced the Argos attack with 277 yards and 2 TDs, while John Avery had 91 yards on the ground and making several big blocks in pass protection for Allen.
Winnipeg had four turnovers in the game, including two crucial interceptions in the final five minutes of the game. Quinn had 92 yards passing and 2 TD, while Charles Roberts had 120 rushing yards in a losing cause.
