Edwards makes it two in a row in Vegas
Carl Edwards posted his second-straight win Sunday, as he outraced Dale Earnhardt Jr. on the final laps of a crash-filled UAW-Dodge 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
The win propelled Edwards to first place in the points standings. He now sits 21 points ahead of Kyle Busch, who was 11th at Las Vegas.
Following Edwards and Earnhardt Jr. at Vegas was Greg Biffle in third place and Kevin Harvick in fourth. Jeff Burton was fifth, Kasey Kahne sixth and David Ragan seventh. Rounding out the rest of the Top 10 were Travis Kvapil, Denny Hamlin and Mark Martin.
The drivers of NASCAR head to Atlanta Motor Speedway next weekend for the Kobalt Tools 500.
