Robertson lifts Argos past Bombers

Jamal Robertson had two touchdowns to lead the Toronto Argonauts to a 23-16 win over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in their season-opener Friday night.

Toronto won the game as 2.5-point underdogs, while the combined 39 points fell UNDER the posted total of 42.5.

Robertson had three catches for 66 yards with a touchdown, and ran nine times with one TD in the win. Michael Bishop and Kerry Joseph split the duties at quarterback for the Argos.

Kevin Glenn threw for 321 yards, completing 32-of-48 pass attempts for the Blue Bombers.
