Earnhardt Jr. wins at Michigan
Dale Earnhardt Jr. took a gamble on fuel late in the race and it paid off on Sunday, as he snapped a long winless streak after taking the checkered flag in the LifeLock 400 at Michigan International Speedway.
Kyle Busch remains atop the driver standings with a 32-point lead over Jeff Burton after finishing 12th at Michigan on Sunday. Earnhardt Jr. remains in third place in the standings, 84 points behind Busch.
Crossing the finish line behind Earnhardt Jr. on Sunday were Kasey Kahne in second, Matt Kenseth in third and Brian Vickers in fourth. Tony Stewart was fifth, followed by Jimmie Johnson in sixth and Carl Edwards in seventh. Rounding out the rest of the Top 10 were David Ragan, Elliott Sadler and Jamie McMurray.
The drivers of NASCAR return to the track next week at Infineon Raceway in the Toyota/Save Mart 350.
