Edwards wins at Michigan
Carl Edwards held off Kyle Busch on a late restart Sunday to record his fifth win of the season in the 3M Performance 400 at Michigan International Speedway.
Busch retains his lead in the driver standings, but his lead over Edwards as fallen to 222 points.
Following Edwards and Busch across the finish line on Sunday was David Ragan in third, Greg Biffle in fourth and Matt Kenseth in sixth. Mark Martin was sixth and Brian Vickers was seventh. Rounding out the rest of the Top 10 at Michigan were Kevin Harvick, Elliott Sadler and Jamie McMurray.
The drivers of NASCAR return to the track on Saturday night at Bristol Motor Speedway in the Sharpie 500.
