Jimmie Johnson had some car trouble down-the-stretch, but held off Greg Biffle to take the Pepsi 500 at Auto Club Speedway Sunday.

Denny Hamlin crossed the finish line in third-place, while Kevin Harvick came in at fourth with Matt Kenseth roaring into fifth position to help secure a spot in the Chase.

Carl Edwards continued his success with a sixth-place finish. Kasey Khane was seventh, while current Chase standings leader Kyle Busch finished in eighth. David Reutimann clinched the ninth spot and Clint Boyer bolstered his chances of a Chase berth with a 10th place finish.

The drivers will get one more chance to secure a Chase berth as they tackle Richmond International Speedway September 6th for the Chevy Rock and Roll 400.
