Jimmie Johnson held off Carl Edwards on the final laps Sunday to claim his fifth win of the season in the Camping World RV 400 presented by Coleman at Kansas Speedway.

The win moved Johnson into first place in the Chase. Johnson now leads Edwards by 10 points, while Greg Biffle, who was third on Sunday, also sits third in the Chase standings, 35 point back.

At Kansas on Sunday, following Biffle in fourth place was Jeff Gordon, while Matt Kenseth was fifth, Kevin Harvick was sixth and Jeff Burton was seventh. Rounding out the rest of the Top 10 were David Ragan, A.J. Allmendinger and Elliott Sadler.

The rest of the Chase standings after the Top 3 includes Burton in fourth, Harvick in fifth, Gordon in sixth, Clint Bowyer in seventh, Dale Earnhardt Jr. in eighth, Kenseth in ninth, Denny Hamlin in tenth, Tony Stewart in 11th and Kyle Busch last in 12th place.

The Chase resumes next week at Talladega Superspeedway with the AMP Energy 500.
