Stewart wins at Talladega

After a wild day filled with numerous lead changes and wrecks Tony Stewart claimed his first victory of the season in a green-white-checkers finish at Talladega Superspeedway on Sunday in the AMP Energy 500.

Jimmie Johnson finished tenth on Sunday and took over the lead in the driver standings. With six races remaining Johnson has a 68-point lead on Carl Edwards.

At Talladega Regan Smith finished second, while Paul Menard was third and David Ragan was fourth. Jeff Burton crossed the finish line fifth, Clint Bowyer was sixth and Bobby Labonte was seventh. Rounding out the rest of the Top 10 were Scott Riggs, Robby Gordon and Johnson.

Following Johnson and Edwards in the driver standings is Greg Biffle, Burton, Bowyer, Kevin Harvick, Stewart, Jeff Gordon, Matt Kenseth, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kyle Busch and Denny Hamlin.
