Martin takes Subway Fresh 500
Mark Martin pulled by Ryan Newman and held off Tony Stewart to claim the Subway Fresh 500 at Phoenix International Raceway and snap a 121-race winless streak Saturday night.
Tony Stewart came in at second place, while Kurt Busch finished third and Jimmie Johnson crossed the line in fourth. Greg Biffle closed out the top five at Phoenix.
Rounding out the top 10 at Phoenix were Denny Hamlin in sixth, Martin Truex Jr. seventh, David Reutimann crossed the line in eighth with Sam Cornish Jr. came in ninth, and Carl Edwards took points by finishing in tenth position.
