Kahne wins at Infineon

Kasey Kahne held off Tony Stewart after a late restart on Sunday to record his first win of the season in the Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Infineon Raceway.

After finishing second Tony Stewart increased his lead in the driver standings. Stewart now leads Jeff Gordon, who was ninth on Sunday, by 88 points.

Finishing behind Kahne and Stewart at Infineon was Marcos Ambrose in third, Jimmie Johnson in fourth and Denny Hamlin in fifth. Juan Pablo Montoya was sixth, A.J. Allmendinger was seventh and Clint Bowyer was eighth. Rounding out the rest of the Top 10 were Gordon and Elliott Sadler.

The Sprint Cup Series returns to the track next week at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in the Lenox Industrial Tools 301.
