Martin captures Lifelock 400
Mark Martin led for 195 laps and held off Jeff Gordon to cross the finish line to win the Lifelock.com 400 at Chicagoland Speedway Saturday night.
Martin picked up his fourth win of the season and now sits in 11th in the Sprint Cup Series with this victory. Kasey Kahne moved up from 12th to eighth in the standings after finishing third in the race. Tony Stewart came in fourth, and Denny Hamlin rounded out the top five.
Ryan Newman took his Chevrolet across the finish line in sixth place. Brian Vickers had his eighth top 10 result by coming in at number seven, while Jimmie Johnson earned his 13th top 10 finish in eighth place. Clint Bowyer had a ninth-place finish, and Juan Montoya closed out the top 10 drivers.
The drivers of Nascar will head to Indianapolis for the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard on July 26th.
