Kahne wins at Atlanta
Kasey Kahne took hold of the lead after a late restart and never came close to relinquishing it Sunday night, as he recorded his second win of the season at Atlanta Motor Speedway in the Pep Boys Auto 500.
Tony Stewart finished 11th on Sunday, but still retains a large lead atop the driver standings. Stewart holds a 237 point lead over Jeff Gordon, who finished eighth Sunday night.
Following Kahne over the finish line at Atlanta was Kevin Harvick in second place, Juan Pablo Montoya in third and David Reutimann in fourth. Mark Martin came fifth, Denny Hamlin was sixth and Brian Vickers was seventh. Rounding out the rest of the Top 10 were Gordon, Ryan Newman and Greg Biffle.
Next week the Sprint Cup Series runs the final race before the beginning of the Chase at Richmond International Raceway in the Chevy Rock & Roll 400.
