Hamlin takes Chevy Rock and Roll 400
Denny Hamlin won his second race of the season by taking the checkered flag at his hometown Richmond International Speedway Saturday night ahead of Kurt Busch in the final race before the Chase begins.
Jeff Gordon finished third, while Chase leader Mark Martin came in fourth with Kyle Busch, who failed to qualify for the Chase closing out the top five.
Clint Bowyer came in sixth, and Brian Vickers, who snuck into the Chase, finished seventh. Sam Hornish Jr. was eighth, Ryan Newman ninth and Jimmie Johnson rounded out the top 10 at Richmond.
The Drivers of Nascar will next hit the track for the Dover 200 at Dover International Speedway September 26th.
