McMurray wins at Daytona

Jamie McMurray passed Kevin Harvick on a green-white-checkers restart and held off a charging Dale Earnhardt Jr. Sunday, to win the Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway.

Following McMurray over the finish line was Earnhardt Jr. in second, Greg Biffle in third and Clint Bowyer in fourth. David Reutimann was fifth, Martin Truex Jr. was sixth and Harvick ended up seventh. Rounding out the rest of the Top 10 were Matt Kenseth, Carl Edwards and Juan Pablo Montoya.

The Sprint Cup Series returns to the track next week at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California in the Auto Club 500.
