Hamlin takes Showtime Southern 500

Denny Hamlin took his third race of the season by crossing ahead of Jamie McMurray to win the Showtime Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway Saturday night.

Kurt Busch finished third, while Jeff Gordon came in fourth and Juan Pablo Montoya rounded out the top five.

Kevin Harvick was sixth, while Kyle Busch came across in seven and Jeff Burton finished in eighth. Rounding out the top 10 were Ryan Newman in ninth and Brian Vickers in 10th.

The drivers of Nascar will hit the rubber next week May 16th for the Autism Speaks 400 at Dover International Speedway.
