Hamlin wins at Michigan
Denny Hamlin held off Kasey Kahne on the final laps to record his second win in a row and fifth of the season after claiming the checkered flag in the Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips 400 at Michigan International Speedway.
Kevin Harvick finished 19th on Sunday but was able to hold on to the lead in the driver standings. Harvick now leads Kyle Busch, who was 20th at Michigan, by 22 points.
Following Hamlin and Kahne across the line at Michigan was Kurt Busch in third, Jeff Gordon in fourth and Tony Stewart in fifth. Jimmie Johnson was sixth, Dale Earnhardt Jr. was seventh and Jeff Burton was eighth. Rounding out the rest of the Top 10 were Joey Logano and Greg Biffle.
The Sprint Cup season continues next week at Infineon Raceway with the Toyota/Save Mart 350.
