Stewart wins at Atlanta
Tony Stewart visited victory lane for the first time this season Sunday night after claiming the checkered flag in the Emory Healthcare 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
Kevin Harvick finished well back in 32nd place Sunday night, but held on to the points lead int eh driver standings. With one race to go before the Chase Harvick has a 227-point lead on Jeff Gordon in the standings.
Following Stewart across the finish line at Atlanta was Carl Edwards in second, Jimmie Johnson in third and Jeff Burton in fourth. Kyle Busch was fifth, Clint Bowyer was sixth and Kurt Busch was seventh. Rounding out the rest of the Top 10 at Atlanta were Ryan Newman, Juan Pablo Montoya and Marcos Ambrose.
The Sprint Cup Series returns to the track on September 11 with the Air Guard 400 at Richmond International Raceway.
