Kyle Busch wins at Bristol

Kyle Busch picked up his first of the Sprint Cup win of the season on Sunday after holding off Carl Edwards to take the checkered flag in the Jeff Byrd 500 presented by Food City at Bristol Motor Speedway.

The win moved Busch into sixth place in the driver standings. Busch's brother Kurt Busch finished seventh on Sunday and moved into first place in the driver standings with 150 points after being the only driver in the series to post four Top 10 finishes this season. He holds a 1-point lead on Edwards in the standings.

Following Kyle Busch and Edwards across the finish line were Jimmie Johnson in third, Matt Kenseth in fourth and Paul Menard in fifth. Kevin Harvick was sixth, Kurt Busch was seventh and Greg Biffle was eighth. Rounding out the rest of the Top 10 were Kasey Kahne and Ryan Newman.

The Sprint Cup season continues next week at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California with the Auto Club 400.
