Harvick wins at Autoclub
Kevin Harvick passed Jimmie Johnson and Kyle Busch on the final lap Sunday afternoon to come out nowhere to take the checkered flag in the Auto Club 400 at Auto Club Speedway.
Carl Edwards finished sixth on Sunday and that was good enough to move him into first place in the driver standings with 187 points. He holds a nine-point lead on Ryan Newman who finished fifth at Auto Club.
Following Harvick across the finish line on Sunday was Johnson in second, Kyle Busch in third, Matt Kenseth in fourth and Newman in fifth. Edwards was sixth, Clint Bowyer was seventh and Brian Vicker was eighth. Rounding out the rest of the Top 10 were Kasey Kahne and Juan Pablo Montoya.
The Sprint Cup season continues next week with the Goody' Fast Pain Relief 500 at Martinsville Speedway.
