Gordon claims AdvoCare 500 title
Jeff Gordon edged teammate Jimmie Johnson to take the checkered flag in the rain-delayed AdvoCare 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Tuesday afternoon.
Tony Stewart, Kurt Busch, and Carl Edwards rounded out the top five drivers in Atlanta, while Brad Keselowski, Kevin Harvick, Denny Hamlin, Matt Kenseth, and A.J. Allmendinger made up the rest of the Top 10.
Johnson, Kyle Busch, Edwards, Kenseth, Gordon, Harvick, Kurt Busch, Ryan Newman, Dale Earnhardt Jr., and Stewart hold down the Top-10 spots in the driver standings after Atlanta's results.
Keselowski and Hamlin sit in the Wild Card berths for the Chase for the Sprint Cup.
