Alouettes trounce Ti-Cats

The Montreal Alouettes spoiled the festive mood at Ivor Wynne Stadium Saturday as they defeated the hometown Hamilton Tiger Cats 32-14.

Montreal came into the road game as a slight 2-point favorite and easily covered the spread. The final score fell UNDER the posted total (54).

Anthony Calvillo completed 23-of-41 passes for 303 yards and two touchdowns in the win. Ben Cahoon picked up one touchdown and caught seven passes for 115 yards, including a 51-yard bomb.

Jason Maas went 27-for-43 on the night, throwing one TD as the Ti-Cats lose their second straight to start the season.
