Bowyer takes checkered flag at Talladega
Clint Bowyer took the checkered flag on Sunday afternoon in the Good Sam Club 500 at the Talladega Superspeedway, holding off Jeff Burton and Dave Blaney for the trip to Victory Lane.
Brad Keselowski and Brian Vickers rounded out the Top 5 at Talladega, while Kasey Kahne, Tony Stewart, Denny Hamlin, Michael Waltrip, and Martin Truex Jr. made up the rest of the Top 10.
Carl Edwards finished 11th in the Good Sam Club 500, and Matt Kenseth was 18th. Edwards now leads Kenseth by 14 points atop the Chase for the Sprint Cup standings, with Keselowski 18 points back of the leader in third place on that list.
