Roughriders demolish Ti-Cats
For the second straight week, the Saskatchewan Roughriders demolished the Hamilton Tiger Cats with a 51-8 win Saturday night.
Saskatchewan came into the contest as a 4.5-point favorite and easily covered the spread. The final score made it OVER the posted total (48).
Rocky Butler earned his second straight win for the Riders, throwing for three touchdowns and completed 15-of-24 pass attempts for 191 yards. Matt Dominguez caught two TD passes and racked up 119 yards from six catches.
Jason Maas completed just 16-of-27 passes for a meager 118 yards, before being replaced. Hamilton's offensive lineman could not hold off the Riders defense as they sacked Maas five times in the loss.
