Stewart wins Ford 400, Cup title

Tony Stewart won the Ford 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Sunday and claimed the 2011 Sprint Cup championship in the process.

Carl Edwards finished second to Stewart in the Ford 400 and lost the Cup title on a tiebreaker; both drivers finished the season with 2,403 points.

Martin Truex Jr., Matt Kenseth, and Jeff Gordon rounded out the Top 5 at the Ford 400. Defending Cup champion Jimmie Johnson ended up in 32nd place in the final race of the season.
