Alouettes stop Ti-Cats

The Montreal Alouettes scraped out their first win of the season on Saturday, as they held off the Hamilton Tiger Cats 29-20 at Ivor Wynne Stadium.

Montreal managed to cover the 7-point spread, while the combined 49 points made it OVER the posted over/under (44).

Anthony Calvillo led the attack for Montreal with three touchdown strikes, and completed 27-of-37 for 310 yards.

Jason Maas was good on 15-of-28 with one TD and one interception, while backup QB Timmy Chang rallied the Ti-Cats with a late score in a losing effort.
