Dale Jr. takes checkered flag at Michigan

Dale Earnhardt Jr. broke a long winless drought on Sunday afternoon, taking the checkered flag in the Quicken Loans 400 at Michigan International Speedway.

Tony Stewart and Matt Kenseth finished second and third at Michigan, with Greg Biffle and Jimmie Johnson rounding out the top five drivers at the event. Jeff Gordon, Clint Bowyer, Juan Montoya, Marcos Ambrose, and Kevin Harvick made up the rest of the Quicken Loans 400's Top 10.

Kenseth holds a four-point lead on Earnhardt Jr. in the driver standings after 15 races, with Biffle 17 points back of the lead in third place. Johnson and Denny Hamlin sit fourth and fifth in the current Sprint Cup Series standings.
