Keselowski ends up first at Geico 400

Brad Keselowski took the checkered flag in the first race of the Chase for the Sprint Cup on Sunday afternoon, winning the Geico 400 at Chicagoland Speedway.

Jimmie Johnson and Kasey Kahne followed Keselowski across the finish line at Chicagoland, with Kyle Busch and Ryan Newman rounding out the top five drivers.

Tony Stewart, Joey Logano, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Martin Truex Jr., and Clint Bowyer made up the rest of the Top 10 at the Geico 400, while Kevin Harvick was 12th, Greg Biffle was 13th, Denny Hamlin was 16th, Matt Kenseth was 18th, and Jeff Gordon ended up back in 35th place.

Keselowski now has a three-point lead on Johnson atop the Chase standings, with Stewart eight points back in third place. Hamlin, Kahne, and Bowyer are all tied for fourth place in the standings, 15 points back of the leader.
