Keselowski wins Cup at Homestead-Miami

Jeff Gordon took the checkered flag in the season-ending Ford EcoBoost 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway, but a 15th-place finish by Brad Keselowski gave him the Sprint Cup championship.

Keselowski ended up 39 points ahead of Clint Bowyer and 40 points ahead of Jimmie Johnson in the final driver standings for the 2012 season, with Johnson failing to finish the Ford EcoBoost 400.

Bowyer, Ryan Newman, Kyle Busch, Greg Biffle, Martin Truex Jr., Aric Almirola, Kevin Harvick, Kurt Busch, and Dale Earnhardt Jr. made up the rest of the Top 10 at Homestead-Miami.

The 2013 Sprint Cup Series season will get underway in February with the Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway.
