Ryan Aplin's 396-yard performance through the air was the key in Arkansas State's 26-22 win over Western Kentucky on Saturday at L.T. Smith Stadium.

The time of possession battle favored Western Kentucky as their offense was on the field for 31:28, longer than the 28:32 of their opponents.

Arkansas State heads into a Week 6 battle against Louisiana-Monroe. Western Kentucky, meanwhile, will have their next action against Middle Tennessee.
