Angels whip Padres

The LA Angels banged out 18 hits as they defeated the San Diego Padres 11-6 Friday night at Angel Stadium.

The Angels won the game as -150 favorites, while the 17 runs sailed OVER the posted over/under (9).

Maicer Azturis went 4-for-4 at the plate with one RBI for the Angels. Matt Palmer allowed 10 hits and four runs over six innings for the win.

Kevin Kouzmanoff hit a two-run homer with three RBIs for the Padres.Chad Gaudin gave up 10 hits and eight runs in the loss.
