Brian Buscher belted a two-run homer as the Minnesota Twins defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates 5-1 in the rubber match of a three-game series at the Metrodome Thursday afternoon.
Minnesota won the game as -160 favorites, while the six runs went UNDER the day's posted over/under (8).
Michael Cuddyer went dep for the Twins, and finished 2-for-4 at the plate. Nick Blackburn tossed a complete-game, allowing just six hits and one run.
Adam LaRoche drove in the lone run for the Pirates. Zach Duke surrendered seven hits and three runs over six innings in the loss.
