Texas Tech Falls 31-22 to Longhorns - Recap
Johnathan Gray tore up the turf for 106 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Longhorns to a 31-22 win over the Red Raiders at Jones AT&T Stadium.

David Ash completed 11 of 19 pass attempts for 264 yards for the Longhorns in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
Kenny Williams rushed for 71 yards for Texas Tech, while SaDale Foster added 28 yards. Seth Doege threw for 329 yards for the Red Raiders, while receivers Eric Ward and Darrin Moore had 126 and 108 yards respectively.
Texas was outgained by Texas Tech 441-427 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 25-18 by the Red Raiders.
Texas Tech lost the time of possession battle 30:30/29:30, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
