Brandon Phillips belted a two-run homer and drove in the winning run to lift the Cincinnati Reds to a 4-3 victory over the Chicago White Sox Friday at Great American Ball Park.

Ramon Hernandez went 2-for-3 at the plate and drove in the other runs for the Reds. Bronson Arroyo improved to 8-5 with the win, and Francisco Cordero collected his 17th save.
