Kevin Slowey allowed just three hits and one run over six innings as the Minnesota Twins defeated the Houston Astros 5-2 Friday night at the Metrodome.
Minnesota won the game as -165 favorites, while the seven runs went UNDER the posted over/under (8.5).
Delmon Young went 2-for-4 at the plate with two RBIs in leading the Twins. Slowey improved to 10-2 with the win, and Joe Nathan notched his 16th save.
Jeff Keppinger homered in a losing effort for the Astros, and Roy Oswalt suffered a complete-game loss.
