Alexei Ramirez drove in four runs to help the Chicago White Sox defeat the Cincinnati Reds 10-8 Saturday night at Great American Ballpark.
Chicago won the game as +135 underdogs, while the 18 runs sailed OVER the posted over/under (8).
Ramirez finished 4-for-5 at the plate with a three-run homer, and Gordon Beckham also went deep for a three-run shot. D.J. Carrasco tossed two innings of relief for the win, and Bobby Jenks sealed the victory with his 16th save.
Jay Bruce went 2-for-5 at the plate with a solo home run for the Reds. Daniel Ray Herrera surrendered two runs in relief and was saddled with the loss.
