Air Force Falls 35-19 to Horned Frogs - Recap
TCU earned a 35-19 victory over Air Force on Saturday in Week 2 action at Falcon Stadium.
The Horned Frogs were a 1.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 50.5.
Casey Pachall completed 20 of 25 pass attempts for 206 yards for the Horned Frogs in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
Mike DeWitt rushed for 48 yards for Air Force, while Asher Clark added 46 yards. Tim Jefferson threw for 83 yards for the Falcons, while receivers Zack Kauth and Joshua Freeman had 41 and 38 yards respectively.
Air Force outgained TCU 416-410 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 24-16 by the Horned Frogs.
The time of possession battle favored TCU as their offense was on the field for 32:39, longer than the 27:21 of their opponents.
TCU heads into a Week 3 battle against Louisiana-Monroe. Air Force, meanwhile, will have their next action against Tennessee State.
