Midshipmen Down Air Force 28-21 - Match Report
Trey Miller tore up the turf for 110 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Midshipmen to a 28-21 win over the Falcons at Falcon Stadium.
Navy won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the 9.5-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 54.5.
Keenan Reynolds completed 3 of 3 pass attempts for 55 yards for the Midshipmen in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
Cody Getz rushed for 204 yards for Air Force, while Connor Dietz added 52 yards. Connor Dietz threw for 90 yards for the Falcons, while receivers Drew Coleman and Ty MacArthur had 106 and 30 yards respectively.
Navy lost the offensive yardage battle to Air Force 507-359 yards in Saturday's game. Air Force had more first downs as that total ended up 26-19.
The time of possession battle favored Navy as their offense was on the field for 31:35, longer than the 28:25 of their opponents.
Navy looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Central Michigan. Air Force will aim to get back on the winning track at Wyoming.
