Rangers hammer Padres

The Texas Rangers scored nine runs over the first three innings Friday, as they ran away with a 12-2 win over the San Diego Padres.

Texas won the game as -230 favorites, and the 14 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (10.5).

Elvis Andrus went 4-for-4 at the plate with two RBIs for the Rangers. Kevin Millwood improved to 8-5 with the win, allowing four hits and two runs over six innings on the hill.

Tony Gwynn belted a solo home run for the Padres. Walter Silva allowed nine runs over 2 1-3 innings in the loss.
