Navy was outgained by Duke 456-375 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 22-21 by the Midshipmen.
Navy lost the time of possession battle 36:57/23:03, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Duke looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Virginia. Navy will aim to get back on the winning track at East Carolina.
