Marlins sweep Nationals
The Florida Marlins completed a three-game sweep of the Washington Nationals with a 6-4 win Wednesday afternoon at Dolphin Stadium.
Florida won the game as -145 favorites, and the 10 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (9).
Dan Uggla smacked a three-run double to lead the Marlins, and John Baker finished with two RBIs in the series finale. Chris Volstad tossed five innings, allowing two runs in picking up the win.
Austin Kearns had one RBI, and walked twice for the Nationals. Daniel Cabrera gave up five runs off seven hits over six innings on the mound to suffer the loss.
