Pirates clip Marlins
Freddy Sanchez was 3-for-4 with a homer to lead the Pittsburgh Pirates past the Florida Marlins 3-2 on Tuesday night.
Pittsburgh won as +110 home underdogs as the game played under the 9-run total set by oddsmakers.
Adam LaRoche and Jason Jaramillo also drove in runs for the Pirates, while Jeff Karstens allowed one run over six innings to get the win for Pittsburgh.
Cameron Maybin went deep for Florida, as losing pitcher Anibal Sanchez gave up three runs over seven innings for the Marlins.
