Cardinals sneak past Cubs
Ryan Ludwick drove in the winning run to lift the St. Louis Cardinals to a 4-3 win over the Chicago Cubs Friday night.

Joe Thurston drove in two runs and finished 1-for-3 at the plate. Kyle McClellan earned the win in relief, and Ryan Franklin closed out the ninth for his fifth save.
