Bronson Arroyo tossed a four-hit shutout through eight innings Friday, as the Cincinnati Reds defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates 4-0 at PNC Park.

Brandon Phillips belted a solo home run and drove in two runs for the Reds. Arroyo improved to 4-1 with the win.
