Marlins swim past Rockies
The Florida Marlins rallied with five runs in the fifth inning and cruised past the Colorado Rockies 8-3 Friday night in the opener of a three-game set at Coors Field.
Florida won the game as +100 underdogs, while the 11 runs went as a PUSH against the posted over/under (11).
John Baker went 2-for-5 at the plate with three RBIs, including a solo home run for the Marlins. Ricky Nolasco threw six innings for the win, allowing eight hits and three runs.
Troy Tulowitzki hit a solo home run and finished with two RBIs for the Rockies. Jason Hammel gave up eight runs off six hits over 4 1-3 innings in the loss.
